The Colt Cobra 38SPL+P is a new and improved version of the original featuring a 6 round capacity, beefier stainless steel frame, improved trigger and fiber optic front sight. This beautiful double action revolver is rated for 38 Spl +p to take advantage of the best modern self defense loads. Colt has made a revolver that is intended to be carried, using corrosion resistant stainless steel and a one piece, full-length underlug barrel with recessed crown that protects the ejector rod. An interchangeable brass bead front sight and integral rear notch sight provides fast and accurate target acquisition. As with Colt’s other new snake guns, the Cobra uses a V-shaped leaf spring to reduce stacking for a smooth trigger pull and clean break. like every firearm, a carry gun needs to be safe so Colt has included a transfer bar safety that prevents the hammer from contacting the firing pin unless the trigger is pulled. The Cobra employs recoil absorbing Hogue Overmolded grips to tame hot +P rounds. The Colt Cobra is easy to shoot, easy to carry, and draws from the famous lineage that makes Colt revolvers special.
